More and more platforms are coming out with their own versions of AI video, photographs, and writing tools. With the widespread availability of these tools, people have begun leveraging them to make their lives easier, like assistance with writing a resume.

Resumes are historically tricky to write, and with companies using AI tools to scan resumes, it’s becoming even more difficult to stand out. But using AI tools to build your resume can help analyze job descriptions, tailor resumes to specific job descriptions, and optimize key features to help get you noticed.

  3. Add language for Keyword Optimization: Many employers use technology to scan resumes that use specific keywords. You can ask your AI tool “what keywords are associated with [job position] here?” Take those keywords and add them into your resume.

  4. Customize: Although your AI tool will do a lot of the leg work, you must edit and personalize your resume after it’s generated. Hiring managers will be able to tell if your resume came straight from a tool that may harm your chances of getting that interview.
